Axie Infinity takes claim to the highest recorded NFT sale to date. The sale consisted of 9 connected Genesis Land plots worth 888.25 ETH or roughly $1,500,000.
Let’s break down this record setting sale…
The Seller:
The seller of this monster deal is a well-known Punk Collector, Axie Investor, and recent Hashmask record setter, Danny.
The buyer:
Flying Falcon, has made several major investments and has dominated the Axie fomobot purchases channel with their recent mystic purchases. In Falcon’s inventory, we can see they own 5 Double Mystics and 7 Single Mystics.
This is the start of a very beautiful Axie Mystic collection.
The Price:
Broken down, the price per Genesis land plot is about 98.7 ETH. The cheapest Genesis for sale at the time of writing is around 100 ETH. The price per plot is roughly that of floor. However, this deal is even sweeter because these plots are connected. Which, in my opinion, makes the plots even more valuable than floor. Since this was a bulk land deal, I am sure there was a discount applied.
The price significance of connected plots is not entirely known at this time. We know that structures are going to be built on top of land, but the area requirements for those structures are not disclosed. This land plot could have one of the greatest front row seats to Luna’s Landing in all of Lunacia.

This is just from battles. This is just the beginning.
